Aileen Hardcastle

Clinical Research Coordinator

Aileen Hardcastle is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the CATS Research Center. They graduated from Prescott College with a B.S. in Environmental Science in 2017 after completing a year of bioacoustics research for their undergraduate thesis in Sonora, Mexico. Aileen went on to spend three years in research at the University of Arizona’s Emergency Medicine Research Center, with a focus on stroke, STEMI, traumatic brain injuries and seizures in pre-hospital care in both adult and pediatric populations. Aileen is a licensed EMT, a member of the Southern Arizona Rescue Association, and a reserve firefighter. Their clinical experience includes working on an ambulance with a local fire department, as well as serving as a technician at Tucson’s Level 1 trauma center. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking, gardening, surfing, and spending time with family and friends.
